BadgesRP utilizes what is called IED (no, not the explosive type) and that stands for “In Every Department.” Meaning, if you are a LEO, then you can RP any department you wish within the AOP. If you are Fire/EMS, you may RP any department with the AOP.

We have many different Departments to choose from:

North Harris County (north San Andreas on the game map) is patrolled by the Harris County Sheriff’s Department and the Precinct 4 Constables (although all of the map of San Andreas falls within their jurisdictions). Little York Fire Department provides fire protection for all unincorporated county areas, while Harris County Emergency Corps provides emergency medical services.

South Harris County/City of Houston (Los Santos and areas on the game map) is patrolled by the Houston Police Department and Metro Police Department. Houston Fire Department provides both fire protection and emergency medical services.

Montgomery County (Roxwood County on the game map) is patrolled by the Montgomery County Sheriffs Department and Conroe Police Department. Conroe Fire Department provides fire protection for all of Montgomery County and the Montgomery County Hospital District provides emergency medical services.

Texas DPS / Highway have jurisdiction in all areas.
